I am currently licensed as a Professional Structural Engineer in Washington and Hawaii. I hav e been licensed in Washington State since 1981 as a Structural Engineer. I have a vast repertoire of structural engineering experience, enabling me to be creative and cost effective, as well as safely solving your structural engineering problems. Plus, I work from home with flexible hours. I particularly like to use the "what if" approach to solving construction and structural damage situations, always with public safety, economy of solution, and constructability in mind. I strive to satisfy all the needs of the client, regardless of the situation, and as their agent, place their interests first, but still be in compliance with all pertinent codes, laws, and regulations.
I do have the capability to work remotely from my home office. However, in some situations, an on site visit may be necessary to see the structural conditions firsthand to gather information. When a site visit is required, I do charge a minimum site visit fee of $600.00 that is payable during the site visit. The fee vaaries from $600.00 to $1000.00 depending on the distance from my office in Everett. Prior to the initial site visit, the actual site visit fee will be quoted. If further structural engineering is required after the site visit such as calculatins, drawings, or a letter or report, that time is billed at $200.00 per hour unless a written proposal is provided for the additional services.
