About

Hello! My name is Brenda. I recently moved here from NY with my husband in 2018, and now we are so excited to have our perfect baby girl who was born in March 2020! I have my Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design from NYC, and I have NY Fashion Industry experience. I have more than 7 years experience as a fitter/seamstress in a bridal retail store. In Brenda's Sewing Room, I alter any garment in a woman's closet from shortening pants to altering a wedding dress. I also make custom pieces, such as costumes and dresses, including my mom's gown for my wedding, and an elaborate Snow White costume for a client for a Comicon Convention. Kids and adults alike also love to learn to sew in Brenda's Sewing Room, with my private sewing lessons.

Sewing is what I love to do. It is truly my passion. I love fitting clothes and special dresses on my customers and seeing their faces light up when the work is done and it fits them like a glove. I love the challenge of new projects. I love working with beautiful fabrics every day.

I also love seeing the look on my kids' faces when they learn how to use the sewing machine and they leave my room wearing something that they made with their own two hands.

I do what I need to do to make you happy, and I won't let you down.
