Dunson's Tax Service was founded in 2011 to provide excellent, affordable income tax preparation services for individuals and small businesses. We provide prompt and knowledgeable customer service to our clients. We have experience working with in-state and out-of-state tax clients. In addition, Dunson's Tax Service has experience working with all types of small businesses.
Here is the breakdown of the steps taken with new clients:
Initial meeting: The first step is our initial meeting. This meeting can be conducted in-person, text messaging, video conference, or over the phone. In this meeting, we'll discuss your tax situation and the steps that will be taken to resolve your tax situation.
Client Information Organizer: The next step is the forwarding of the Client Information Organizer to the client. The organizer needs to be completed by the client to gather personal information necessary for completing the client's tax return.
Document Upload: DTS will then send a message via Verifyle to an email address that has been provided by the client. Verifyle allows the client to securely upload the completed client information organizer and their tax documents. This could include W-2 forms, 1099s, spreadsheets, and other relevant tax documents.
Draft Return Preparation: After receiving the completed information organizer and tax documents, we'll begin preparing a draft of your tax returns based on the information provided. If there are any questions or missing documents, then a punch list of questions will either be emailed, texted, or requested by phone.
Discussion and Clarification: Once the draft return has been completed, then a meeting via phone or video conferencing will be scheduled. In this meeting, we'll ensure all details on your return are accurate and any questions or concerns are addressed.
Finalization: After the discussion and any necessary revisions, the final returns will be completed and filed. DTS will efile your federal and state income tax returns. A paper copy will then be mailed to the client. An invoice will be emailed to the client. and payment will be due in 30 days.
