This involved passing four rigorous exams (with a pass rate under 50%) and an additional challenging ethics exam, a requirement not imposed on Enrolled Agents (who have a 70% pass rate and are not required to hold a bachelor’s degree).
• Professional Experience: I’ve worked at several reputable CPA firms that specialize in complex tax matters (high-net worth and ultra high-net worth individuals included), including a firm focused on real estate investors, particularly those managing short-term rentals (Airbnbs) and those claiming real estate professional status.
• Leadership: I managed the tax department of a national wealth management firm in San Diego, serving over 200 clients.
