I am dedicated to my students' growth and driven by their expectations: my focus is on helping them find what truly works for them as they learn new content and identify skills they will be able to transfer to future settings and circumstances they may encounter long after our paths crossed!
The best part of my job is having the privilege to guide my students as they learn "how to learn" so that they can transfer those skills to any field they will tackle in the future. I believe knowledge per se can be easily had if one can execute the right "Google search" but what one chooses TO DO with that knowledge is what differentiates true learners as critical thinkers and problem solvers from everyone else be in a specific field, school, or higher education.
My role is to help my students to acquire or strengthen their critical thinking and life long learning attitude so that these will serve them for life.
What else can be more exhilarating than seeing my student take my lead, flourish, thrive, and discover the enjoyment that can be found in true learning?
