About

My name is Maria and I teach private music lessons on a few instruments. I currently have openings in my studio for violin and viola lessons.

I offer lessons both online and in-person.

I have a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from UMass Lowell and a Master of Music from The Boston Conservatory. I am currently working towards a PhD in Ethnomusicology at the University of Washington. I am a licensed music teacher for PreK-12, and have taught as Music Theory and Ear Training as a faculty member at The Boston Conservatory. I also teach a class on American Pop Song at the UW.

I will work with interested students to provide individualized instruction and help you achieve your unique musical goals! I work with a growth mindset and seek to provide a positive and nurturing environment.
