Siteseeing Media offers small businesses the ability to have someone manage their digital presence without having to hire a full-time employee. I am on the client's side, which means I don't try to sell them products and services they don't need. I am most often hired to develop and maintain websites, create content marketing, ghostwrite, edit, and oversee marketing.
My long-time clients appreciate that they can come to me with questions about outside services, and I'll give them a fair answer. For example, one client asked if he should be advertising on Yelp, and I was able to provide him with information based on another client's recent experience. Or an SEO company will contact them with a package, and I'll analyze the proposal to see if it showcases best practices and prices comparable in the industry.
The creative aspect of my job is what appeals to me most, but I left the corporate world because I love giving smaller businesses the expertise they would usually only get if hiring a big agency or a full-time staff member.
