I am a nationally ranked Latin dancer with extensive competition experience. Dancing since the age of 12, I have been actively competing at the adult level in the U.S. and most recently was ranked in the top 17 for USA. Some of my competitive accomplishments include placing top 2 at the 2016 Vegas Open Dance Challenge, top 4 at the 2016 City Lights Ball DanceSport Championships, and top 5 for the 2015 Emerald Ball DanceSport Championships.
In addition to the 17+ years of dancing experience, I am also a seasoned instructor with 14+ years of coaching experience. I coached and spearheaded the competitive Latin Dancesport Team for San Jose State University, and then became a coach for the Stanford University competitive team. My dedication to dance led me to also pursue an education in physical therapy. From this, I have developed a unique coaching methodology which combines dance training with physical therapy, which helps to prevent many of the common dancing injuries today, and improves your posture and overall strength over time as well.
I can teach all experience levels (little to no experience, and competitive dancers), large groups, 1 on 1 private dance lessons, wedding choreography, and I can do performances with my partner at your special events as well. If you hire me, I am certain we will have a great time!
