I would love to officiate your wedding as long as it is in compliant with your governor's state recommendations. Due to covid-19 I will be social distancing and wearing personal protection equipment to keep you, your wedding party if any and guests as well as myself safe. I will also be doing a limited number of weddings in person, only 1 per week. My normal fee is $300, however due to the hardships I am temporarily having a pandemic special of only $200. This does not include travel if you are out of the Spokane area.

If I do not reply when you request me to officiate you wedding, it's not that I don't want to, there are too many spam wedding requests and there is no way to tell who are legit since we can't chat with you first without getting charged a fee. Not the way I want to start the conversation but too many people wanting to ask a question and when this happens Thumbtack charges me a fee. I keep an eye on jobs posted and no longer DO NOT REPLY to anyone asking directly about my availability. SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE but the way Thumbtack is set up I am charged a fee to send you a quote if you request me personally vs me seeing your posting on the board and being able to send a quote for free then if you want to book me when you reply I will happily pay a fee for being your Officiant, speaker or master of ceremonies as well as my daughter providing you a photo booth.
Yes, Thumbtack charges vendors a fee when you respond even if we don't get your business, yes it's complicated. If you have already booked an officiate, speaker or emcee, or photo booth, just don't respond and I will understand. I have been an international keynote speaker for the past 29 years and author since 1997. In 2004 I became one of the contributing authors for the New York Times Best Selling Book Series Chicken Soup for The Soul. I have literally thousands of reference letters from businesses, government agencies, principals, staff and students of schools, non profits and departments of corrections. Yes I even go into juvenile institutions, jails and even prisons working with the at risk population.
I require 1/2 down and the remainder due 7 business days prior to your event date. Most people do full payment because it's one less thing they need to do. If your wedding is within a month of booking me then full payment is required. I am easy to work with I will do whatever I can to make your event, fun, memorable and as less stress as possible.
