Hi there! My name is Rev. Cynthia Andrews-Looper. I have been in ordained ministry since 1993. I have officiated over 525
weddings. My strong point is tailoring the service to fit the needs of the couple. I do religious, non-religious and non-denominations ceremonies. My passion is creating a ceremony that truly represents the shared love of two unique people.
In addition, I offer services for premarital counseling, wedding planning, direction for rehearsal, officiating the ceremony and coordinator for the day. Having been responsible for a number of large and small events, including weddings, during my time in ministry; I understand how to create the big picture and then can focus in on the details that makes that big picture rememberable.
From creating the budget, to identifying the perfect vendors, to offering musical selections and decor that will create the perfect atmosphere for your wedding; I am in tune with the couple and have the goal of making the event and experience unique for them. I can pull together many parts and place them exactly where they need to be at just the right time.
My strong point is bringing everything together the day of the event in such a way that the transitions are seamless and the guests have a wonderful time. The bride can relax and enjoy this special and magical day with no worries about the details that make up the whole.
I provide full wedding planning services from creating a budget, to identifying vendors, venues, musicians, DJ’s, etc. I also provide basic planning services focused on the rehearsal and day of the wedding.
Finally, I offer pre-marital and relationship counseling. I have provided pre-marital counseling and couples counseling for hundreds of couples throughout my 32 years in ministry. I intentionally create safe space where each person feels validated and heard.
My goal is to bring greater understanding and deeper connections for the couple. I also seek to help the couple in finding effective ways of addressing issues that may arise. Each learns more about themselves and the other; and, better understands their role and responsibilities in growing a stronger relationship. If I feel the couple could benefit from further counseling, I provide referrals to professional therapists who can continue the journey of healing and wholeness for the couple.
