Born and raised on the island of Hawaii, Collin David loves sharing his island vibes of easiness and heart-centered living. He recently moved back to the Big Island after being in Seattle for 15 years. His great awakening came after significant health issues in his early twenties, suffering from gut issues that led to severe cystic acne and chronic back pain. He firmly believes that “our shadows, those darkest times in life can allow for the greatest transformation into our highest potential.” It was at this low moment, he committed to deep healing and reprogramming old behaviors which would lead him on his journey into expanding consciousness.
After living out his childhood conditioning of pursuing the corporate world for 14 years, attending Seattle University and working for Jacobs Engineering, life still was incomplete. He realized it was a necessary experience, but his passion was not in alignment and transitioned into movement arts. Being active was always a big part of his life and he knew he had to continue along that path. Extensive studies and practice in fitness and yoga was the gateway that allowed him to find true authenticity in expressing his passion. From engineer to coach since 2016, he is now fully committed to helping his clients find their own power through private and group sessions, workshops, and retreats.
Collin is a Certified Personal Trainer, Yoga, and Qigong instructor through American Aerobic Association International, Yoga Alliance, and Seattle Shaolin Kungfu Academy, respectively. Now with thousands of hours in teaching, Collin enjoys guiding individuals through ancient Eastern practices of movement, breath, and meditation in-order to awaken our superhuman treasures that lie within us all.
With studies in Yoga, Qigong, Martial Arts, Western Fitness, Calisthenics, and other healing modalities including Sound Healing, Bodywork, and Life Coaching, he enjoys blending these arts into a complete self-care practice. Collin believes that authenticity and intention is everything, and when combined with movement, breath, and sound, we can break free from all dis-ease in the body and allow our life force to freely flow.
He also mentors other teachers and specializes in helping individuals rediscover their life-path, enter into flow state living, and obtain freedom by expanding in their energetic exchange of giving and receiving. He uses effective questioning, intuition, and knowledge from ancient esoteric and western scientific systems to recall answers from deep within the self and remember who we truly are.
