To begin the process, I work with my clients to help them discover their values and their frustrations. Within the process, we combine your knowledge, skills, and abilities earned through experiences, jobs, education, training and professional development to help you confidently present your personal and professional best.
Clients often need to have someone else look at them with honest and intuitive eyes, an ability I consider as one of my strengths. I also find that clients have more going on in several areas of their lives, not just the most apparent and challenged area. I create a safe and collaborative space for them to open up, while positively challenging them to take strategic risks.
I go beyond the coaching to review each client's resume and other attributes to help them appreciate their competencies and strengths, helping to build components of their personal and professional strategic plan. I believe it is beneficial to have each client develop a strategic plan that works for their needs and goals.
In addition, my clients are from many professional areas, levels, and demographics. They are mid-career, executive level, late career, and in retirement. I also have clients I advise and mentor from high school, college, and post graduate levels to help them with strategic career plans. the constant is the desire to be better in their career and to reduce the stress from challenges and/or toxic environments.
I really enjoy the excitement my clients feel when they realize they had everything already, they just needed to focus on their strengths and on themselves. In discovering their strengths, building confidence around those strengths, their motivation grows and moves them in the direction that provides fulfillment, confidence, and success. The pieces are mostly there, they just need to have the support and confidence to risk change. It is great to see each client's transformation and fulfillment during the development of their personal strategic plan.
