I specialize in helping people improve their body mechanics and posture as part of their fitness training. I am a certified personal trainer (NASM-CPT) and hold specializations in a number of areas including Pilates Matwork, Tabata Bootcamps, Senior Fitness and Martial Arts. I'm currently working on a Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialization which addresses properly engaging the core, diaphragm and pelvic floor to help folks with back and neck pain, healing diastasis, and pelvic floor dysfunction (including incontinence issues).
When you train with me, we establish and build upon a strong foundation of posture and movement to achieve your fitness goals. I do not believe in loading up faulty movement patterns to build muscle while risking injury along the way.
I enjoy experiencing the journey to better movement and fitness with each and every client I train. It is very rewarding to hear them tell me how much better they feel, how they have so much more energy and can do things they weren't able to do before. It is always great to hear about the annual doctor visits and how their numbers have all improved.
