About

I have taught students of all personalities and ability levels, including physically handicapped and autistic. I also perform on piano and violin so I am able to coach students in their own performances.

I was classically trained but have expanded my experience to include improvising, which is basic to jazz. Many jazz and rock musicians have a classical background. A knowledge of music theory is essential and is a part of my teaching.

Teaching and performing is not work - it is my passion. I believe God has given me the gift of music, and this is my gift to God.
