About

I am passionate about mentoring both children and adults to learn to play string instruments and piano. I began playing violin at age 3; piano at age 4; cello at age 10; and viola as an adult. I have over 36 years of teaching experience and I am Suzuki Association of the Americas certified. Additionally, I am an active performer in the Central Michigan area. I am concertmaster and frequent soloist with the Midland Community Orchestra; a member of the Midland Symphony Orchestra; pit musician for shows at Midland Center for the Arts; soloist and concert organizer at Creative 360 and other area venues; and I provide ensembles and music for weddings, parties, and other events. I am providing a special service during the Covid-19 pandemic. If you are having a small wedding ceremony and would still like live music included in your ceremony, I can work with you to either provide socially distanced music at your venue, or music performed live via a Zoom feed, that your Zoom guests would be able to enjoy prior to the service as well as during the ceremony.
