About

I teach beginners the fundamentals of sewing and how to make an item from scratch, including sewing machine usage, fabric choice, pattern ideas, cutting out and constructing the garment. $35 an hour, $30 an hour for 2+ hours.

I am also a seamstress specializing in quality, unique costumes and alterations. I make costumes for high school musicals and work as a seamstress for a professional theatre. I specialize in alterations, especially at making a special dress or outfit larger. I can help you brainstorm your project and walk you through/teach you how to make your item.

Lastly, I recover kitchen and dining room chairs. Depending on complexity I charge anywhere from $30-$60 per chair. Pick up and deliver charges apply.
