Born and raised in Northern Italy, my passion for the culinary world began at a young age. I started my career at Fontana Rosa in Liguria, where I honed my skills in pizza making and refined my culinary techniques under the guidance of classically trained Italian chefs.
Building on this foundation, I went on to open two restaurants in Italy, specializing in fresh seafood, traditional pesto, gluten-free pasta and pizza, premium extra virgin olive oil, and classic Italian desserts. For 14 years, I grew Il Vascello, a beloved coastal restaurant, before deciding to bring my expertise to New York City.
In NYC, I launched Mimmo Cucina Italiana, crafting a diverse yet simple menu that emphasized high-quality ingredients that resonated with neighborhood regulars. Highly rated and recognized by the City of New York, Mimmo Cucina Italiana became a gem of the Upper East Side.
A visit to Denver sparked a new chapter—I fell in love with Colorado and decided to make it my home. Today, I specialize in Italian and New American cuisine, with a focus on wood-fired pizza, handmade pasta, fresh seafood, premium meats, and classic desserts like tiramisu and torta della nonna.
I am available for personal chef services, private parties, in-home cooking classes, and catering for small weddings and special events. Open to travel.
